What year is it?

I am so sorry.  I am not a natural blogger.  I can't believe it's been a year since my last posting.  Last year I launched my debdonnellydesigns.com.store and it's kept me busy for sure.

I still sell a few items including knitting bags through my Etsy store.  I can't cut the cord and really don't want to.   There's a lot of helpful information and contacts that I enjoy making.  High 5 to Etsy!

I've recently designed a messenger style knitting bag and offer it now on line.  They still have the interior divider pocket and are a bit narrower at the base.  They have mesh strapping, durable plastic hardware and adjust to length up to 56".  And of course I make them girly too, with ribbons and flowers.  Check'em out.

My Personal Stash and Organizer

I was just commenting on a posting from another blog site and realized that I was creating a blog post myself.. So here is the comment/post from the post on Lorna's Laces blog: hehe (and a photo) http://lornaslaces.blogspot.com/2011/03/tidy-mind-tidy-stitches_30.html

I de-stashed much of my yarn last summer. My cute red basket and my knitting bag are what I have left. Ahh breathing room.

The basket holds most of my stash and I only buy new yarn when it gets low. I store my supplies and my current project neatly in my own one-of-a-kind Deb Donnelly Designs knitting bag. I keep any skeins that I am currently using for a project on one side of the bags divider pocket and my project goes neatly on the other side.

There are tons of pockets for needles and misc. items. I do love my own bag!

Sprucing up the Deb Donnelly Designs Work Space

Absolutely everything that was once in my studio is now piled high in my bedroom! With only the ability to ship out packages, this process is making me motivated to finish so that I can move back in.

Before

My gracious and very talented Dad came for 4 days and helped my husband and I put up a tongue and groove ceiling that turned out beautifully.

Dad (He sings while he works.) :)

Me cutting boards to send up through the studio window.

My hubby put up the sheet rock and I mudded and painted the walls a warm white. Trim on the windows and a gray carpet will be installed. Very exciting! One step closer to a completed work space!

Now I have to decide which type of light fixtures to hang...hmmmm. :)
