About Me

Deb Donnelly Designs
I was born in Maine, raised in Maine and still live in Maine. I graduated with a Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern Maine in '92. I married a wonderful man, moved away from the city of Portland to fix up a house, have two children, raise chickens for eggs and live through years of bad cat behavior. Cat people unite! On a cold March day in 2007, while knitting in front of my woodstove, I came up with the idea to design a knitting bag. One that not only looks beautiful, but also has a functional interior. One that would keep my yarn balls under control, away from my cat and hold all my stuff. So, I made my first bag, joined Etsy on line and was astonished when I sold it! 400 bags later, in 2011 I lauched my website Deb Donnely Designs and I hope to attend a 4 day knit/crochet convention this Summer.
